PUERTO RICO FIRM RECALLS FROZEN BEEF PRODUCTS DUE TO POSSIBLE
E. COLI O157:H7 CONTAMINATION
WASHINGTON, Oct. 10, 2008 – Packers Provision, a Puerto Nuevo, Puerto Rico, establishment, is recalling approximately 420 pounds of frozen beef trim that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced today.
